34 lessons learned in 34 years

Some lows, but many highs!

Hi there! While we sure did miss you, we’re glad we took a break last week. It was a toughie, and we’re sending lots of love to all of you who feel the same.

Today’s Tunes: Destiny Child’s “Independent Women Part 1” was the #1 song on this day in 2000, so naturally we’re honoring that and cranking it up full blast!

Have a Q for WorkDaze or the podcast? Let’s hear it here

34 Lessons In 34 Years: Gabi’s Version

Hey guys, Rod here! In this week’s edition, I wanted to highlight my partner in crime, the yin to my yang, and the other half of Workdaze, Gabi!

She’s turning the big 3-4 this week, and what better way to kick off another year than to share some things she’s learned throughout hers?!

We had a good time writing today’s edition and we hope it’s a fun read for all of you too. HBD, Gabi!

Hiiii it’s Gabi!

I'm not going to lie; this year was one big learning curve for me, filled with lots of highs and lows. From moving to LA to my grandma passing, moving home (Detroit) to landing a new job, with a few other key moments sprinkled in between, my 33rd year was quite the adventure.

With many laughs, tears, and moments I wish I could bottle up forever, here are a few important lessons throughout the years that I’ve learned.

In my thirty freaking four years around the sun, I’d never thought I’d be writing about them to all of you, and I am so thankful for that!

There’s a lot more to learn in this crazy thing we call life, so cheers to all of us continuing to do just that!

…while you count down the years until retirement.

We all love our little mug of Sleepy Time tea at night but how about one of Celestial Seasoning’s Sleepy Girl Fall Mocktail recipes?!

Are you all caught up with the latest episodes of Are You Mad At Me? If not, we’d love for you to listen, rate, and subscribe on whatever platform you listen to podcasts. FYI: This week’s episode comes out later this week!

Annnnd the Oscar goes to… female frogs that fake their death to avoid unwanted attention from males. Quite possibly our favorite fun fact we’ve come across… ever?

Thanks so much for reading! We’re more than halfway through the week, you got this! See you back here next Wednesday.
